Donald Joseph Barnes Sr., 46, of Decatur, IL passed away at 8:23 a.m. on Sunday (June 27, 2010) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday (July 1, 2010) at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Mr. Barnes was born on December 31, 1963 in Atlanta, GA, the son of John and Ella (Goforth) Barnes. He worked at Area Disposal in Clinton, IL. He married Teresa M. Call on March 4, 1996.
Surviving are his wife: Teresa M. Barnes of Decatur, IL; children: Donald Joseph Barnes Jr. of Georgia, Charity Call of Decatur, IL, Kristen Barnes of Decatur, IL and Marie Barnes of Decatur, IL; brother: John Barnes of Georgia; sister: Joanie (Dale) Glisson of Georgia; grandchildren: Jennilee Call, Caleb Call, Sierra Barnes and Patrick Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother: Ronald Barnes.

I was with Donnie for almost 20 years, we had our ups and downs but I could always depend on him when I needed him. I loved him and I will miss him. He was a loving father and husband. He will be missed very much.
